Totally safe & legal*
Our flamingos are super strong fliers because they share the beach with Minnesota Gators, our swim-with-alligators attraction. They can lift off with a rider up to 25 pounds on their back pretty fast most of the time.
Riders between 25 & 40 pounds are required to sign a waiver accepting all consequences and freeing us from liability. We have crayons available for the little ones and will accept any mark in lieu of a full signature.
Adults are never more than 100 yards away in case a child falls off. Our kayak patrols are faster than the alligators almost all of the time.
*We can’t possibly be familiar with all of the laws everywhere, but in our city, there is no law against live flamingo rides.

Flying on a flamingo is excellent practice for kids who want to learn to ride a horse, a hovercraft, or an alligator.
